NZ Ch Catraz Beyond The Horizon (Imp-Aust)
Journey is a half sister to my foundation bitch Onyx, by frozen semen, 12.5 years on down the track. I’ve wanted another Finney baby for years, so it’s been a journey! A wonderful one at that. And her mum Liza comes down from a wonderful strong line of bitches who maintain strong type. Pam’s bitches were always her strength and are why her boys produce so well, with such a strong foundation behind them.
Journey is amazing with my 4 young kids, chooks, cats and whatever other assortment of animals I through in the mix from time to time!
We’ve had a bit of fun in the show ring with some lovely awards along the way. Most recently, best of breed at the 2025 Nationals. She’s a very moderate girl who I love.
When I’ve had time, I’ve dabbled in scent work training which she picked up in only a few sessions. I would love to devote enough time to get her up to speed to compete - maybe one day. Dog competitions definitely take the back seat to kids’ activities at this point in time though!
