NZ CH Merrinda Oh My Hearts On Fire (AI) (IMP-AUS)
We have been blessed to have many Border Collie contacts around world who have now become friends.
A few years back after searching the interent for eye catching Border Collies, I cam across a stunning and extremely popular Border Collie called Garrett - AM CH. AM GR CH. JULE TOO'S AFFAIRS OF THE HEART (USA). He lives with his breeder and owner Lisa Schneider. We fast became friends and we found out she had imported a Clan Abby dog from NZ, it felt to both of us, that it was a full circle moment.
Sadly, we couldn't import semen from Garrett due to his age, so she kindly connected us with Lyn Allshorn - Merrinda Kennels in Australia, who is also a good friend of Lisa's and fortunately for us, has Garrett in her breeding lines.
Lyn has been amazing and has entrusted us with two dogs from her Kennel. We understand and respect the leap of faith she has given us to do right by the breed. Through this we have not opened him up for stud in NZ with the view that any potentail breedings will be presented to his breeder Lyn Allshorn first.
