We are situated in the Bay of Plenty, at the bottom of the Kaimai ranges. It is here we live on 5 acres of grounds with our Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
Breeding true to type, sound Ridgebacks with great temperaments is our main aim as well as enjoying the show dog scene.
All dogs used in my breeding program have been hip and elbow scored for dysplasia, DNA tested for Degenerative Myelopathy, Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy & the Dilute (blue) gene.
I pride my self on the time & effort that goes in to finding the right breeding lines, temperament and dogs to compliment my females. I have imported three males and a female all from well respected breeders or specialty judges for the breed. I also import frozen semen to offer myself and others a fantastic family pet or show dog.
Dogs I have bred are active in Agility, Rally-o, obedience and the show scene.
All puppies are socialised with our family (we have four children) and of course our other dogs and friends that visit.
Your new puppy will come with:
1st health check & vaccination. (including checks for Dermoid Sinus)
Wormed every 2 weeks from 2 weeks of age.
4 weeks free pet insurance.
Pedigree papers from the NZKC (endorsements may apply)

Sandridge Rhodesian Ridgebacks is based on a 20 acre farm high on a ridge of the Korowai o te Tonga peninsula made up of two million year old sand dunes, overlooking the Kaipara harbour, about an hour north of Auckland.

Our kennel is founded on some of the finest true to type Rhodesian Ridgeback bloodlines. Our aim is to preserve the very best of the breed by producing great temperaments, sound conformation and fabulous character in all our dogs.

Our special dogs are successful as show dogs, much loved members of the family and obedience competitors. All our puppies are properly socialised in a busy household as part of our family life.

Our dogs have been PennHip and ANZ elbow scored for dysplasia (low risk) and DNA tested clear for Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, Degenerative Myelopathy, Haemophilia A & B and D Locus Dilution (blue) gene, .

Amuri Rhodesian Ridgebacks is situated in the village of Murchison, near the top of the South Island, NZ.
Living on a lifestyle block, our dogs enjoy sharing the land with our cattle, sheep & horses.
The girls are part of our family, & are involved in almost everything we do. From helping with the orphan lambs/calves, cafés/shopping, beach runs, to strutting their stuff in the show ring.
My passion for this breed started over 20 years ago, after having a bitch & her son. They had never left my heart, so the hunt for another RR blessed us with THREE girls from Koruridge. We are so very proud to own them. My husband is now hooked, & so Amuri Rhodesian Ridgebacks was born!
Our girls have tested clear for Degenerative Myelopathy, Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, & do not carry the Dilute/Blue coat colour gene. All have excellent Hip/Elbow scoring, and great natures.
Going forward, any Dogs chosen for our Bitches will have been tested for the above.
This breed is super versatile, so should have great natures & be sound for Lure Coursing, Agility, Obedience, Show Ring & most importantly, amazing companions! Our aim is to produce happy, healthy & correct examples of this wonderful breed.
Pups will have first Vaccination/vet check, & have been wormed fortnightly.
Successful applicants for our pups will receive NZKC Pedigree papers (conditions may apply), a sample of food, his/her blanket, puppy info pack, and on going support.

Established 24+years ago in the UK, I immigrated with three generations in 2007. I am planning a second litter with Shemshi Tamela due November 2023.
My litters are born and raised in the lounge to maximise their socialisation.

Located in Katikati in the North Island of New Zealand, JAHARI is a small family run kennels based on our lifestyle block. We have many grandies whom play a large roll in our puppies upbringing. Rhodesian Ridgeback are a large breed that are excellent guard dogs and family pets. They are loyal and kind and enjoy time lazing in the sun or curled up by a fire, my big girl currently spends her evenings as a therapy dog for my son, who reads with her every night.
I have been privileged own Amber, my first RR and foundation dog to start my kennel. My RR are raised with myself, my children and are socialized with children, elderly and my smaller Japanese spitz dogs. I aim to breed true to type correct puppies using only the best lines. I enjoy showing my RR, and we also enjoy an array of outdoor activities. My RR are always keen to go for a walk and have been on hikes up Mt Te Aroha where we live.
I am now taking expressions of interest for my next litter of puppies. These are well bred puppies and I hope to have more showing from the mother befor a litter. Each puppy will come with DogNZ pedigree papers. From carefully selected and health tested parents the puppies will be fully vet checked, vaccinated, and treated regularly to prevent worms/fleas. They each comes with a puppy package. I am always here to offer advice through out your puppies life.

LoveridgeNZ kennel is based in Waipu, Northland. I have been involved with Rhodesian Ridgebacks for over 20 years. I adore them and have owned 6. I have worked with them in obedience, agility, scent work and k9 good citizenship. They have wonderful loving, loyal temperaments. My current breeding bitch is CH Relko Red Squirrel.She had her first litter in 2016, The David Bowie Litter.. My pups are raised with a puppy enrichment program and enjoy the good life on my 15 acre property. The pups go to approved homes only. Prospective owners are encouraged to come and 'meet the pups' and have relevant questions answered.
Pups are vet checked, vaccinated and wormed at 6 weeks old.. Both bitch and sire have been successfully hip scored and tested and cleared for genetic disorders.
I'm breeding for sound temperament as well as.stunning good looks!! My Ridgebacks are happy in the show-ring, being petted for hours on a Pet Expo Stand or tramping up the forest. As long as they are with you they are happy. I hope to have a litter on the ground during the summer of 2019.

We are a Dogs NZ approved breeder of Rhodesian Ridgebacks located in North Auckland. All breeding dogs are DNA tested and screened for hip and elbow dysplasia. Our dogs are very much part of the family and we like to include them in our everyday activities.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks originally were bred as an all purpose, versatile, tracking, running and lion hunting hound. Although there seems to be a lack of lions New Zealand, we aim to keep this potential ability in the dogs physique (just in case), along with nurturing amazing temperaments to make fantastic additions to families.

Our foundation girl Chili-Pepper (from Germany) moved back to New Zealand with us at the end of 2022, bringing new lines and diversity to the Ridgeback community here. We are really excited to see what emerges and to produce happy, healthy, outstanding examples of the breed.
