We are a family kennel consisting of myself Lois, my husband Lance and daughter Ashleigh. We have a small holding at the bottom of the South Is NZ at a place called Maitland. Our love of the Japanese Spitz breed has led us too showing and we travel many kilometers a year to as many shows as possible just to spend time away from the rat race with our dogs.

We breed for the show ring and occasionally have pets and older dogs for sale in New Zealand. With Kona joining our pack we feel that the quality of our offspring will compete with the best.

Oi is now home from living the good life being shown to Australian Championship status and siring beautiful puppies.

We are proud to say we may have a litter in March of Pure Bred Japanese Spitz puppies which will be registered with NZKC, and will come with pedigree papers.
The Japanese Spitz is not a very common breed of dog. I would suggest doing a Google search to learn more about them.
A Japanese Spitz is first and foremost a companion dog, and thrives on human contact and attention, preferring to be a member of the family.
They are very intelligent, loyal, playful and easy to train, and particularly excellent and loving towards children.
Surprisingly they have a very easy care white coat - which requires no clipping.
The mother and father have superb temperament which will be passed on down to the puppies.!!

I have been showing & Breeding Japanese Spitz since 2007.
I am committed to breeding good quality sound Japanese Spitz with excellent natures.
I currently have 5 lovely Japanese Spitz in my stud
.Romy (NZ Ch and Platinum merit Talbothights Tiz Romeo ). He is a lovely sound example of a Japanese Spitz Dog
He has a lovely gentle nature and big full coat , .He was runner up Best Dog and Best of Breed at the Eukanuba National dog show in 2014 and won the title of Best of breed Japanese Spitz 2017 at The Black Hawk National Dog Show He now a neuter .
Our new stud dog is NZ Champion Arashi Shimo Storm ( Shimo ) He is 3 years old and proven at stud He has a wonderful gentle nature and is a really gorgeous boy .

NZ champion Arashi Summer Rain ..
We have a new bitch addition to our kennel named Drakon A Special Blend at Arashi who is a rising star and won baby of group at national Dog Show week ..

We are a small boutique show and breeding kennel located in Orewa (Auckland area), specializing in quality Japanese Spitz. We are not a backyard breeder or a large breeding operation.

TEMPERAMENT FIRST: We have our share of Show Wins,  but we breed for temperament first.

PUPPIES AND MATURE DOGS AVAILABLE: We expect our next litter to be born April 1, 2024. See our Puppies For Sale ad or our website for further details. See our Older Dogs Ad for details of our Mature Dogs currently available.

WRAPAROUND SERVICE: Our puppies go to their new homes after their first set of shots, a vet checkup, and are,wormed, microchipped and are registered with the NZ Kennel Club. Show and breeding puppies may be available from time-to-time. All puppies that are picked up by the buyer come with a generous starter pack containing food, grooming items, treats, bedding, lead and collar, and more. And we offer ongoing support as part of the package.

SHIPPING: We ship to the South Island and overseas; we details for both ground and air animal transporters. All transportation-related costs are to be arranged and paid for by the buyer.

STUD DOGS: We have Ch.ToaToa Baron of Bedlam, ToaToa Royal Flush and ToaToa His Spitting Image available at stud. Please see our "Active Dog Profiles" page for details.

Japanese Spitz are a companion breed that excel as watchdogs. They are loyal and kind and enjoy time with their owners.
Having being very privileged to purchase 'Polar' my foundation girl from Mondial kennels, I have been engaged in showing till recently, but am starting again in 2023.
My Japanese Spitz are raised with myself, my children and are socialized with children, elderly and my large dog. I aim to breed true to type correct puppies using only the best lines. I enjoy showing my Spitz, and we also enjoy an array of outdoor activities. My Spitz are always keen to go for a walk and have been on hikes up Mt Te Aroha where we live.
I am now taking expressions of interest for my next litter of puppies. These are well bred pups from pedigree lines. Puppies will come with DogNZ pedigree papers. Each puppy will be fully vet checked, vaccinated, and treated for any worms/fleas. They each comes with a puppy package. I am always here to offer advice through out your puppies life.
