I have been dedicated to the breed in NZ for 30 years, breeding for quality, conformation, health and temperament as per our standard. I have imported dogs from Aust with European & American lines to introduce new blood lines & it is my aim for the future to selectively breed to carry on and produce these line bred dogs. For the past 5 years I have been dna testing for Von Willebrands Disease (vWd's) with the result that I have ruled out any affected pups, all my breeding bitches are now clear.
To date I have 30 champions, Specialty and Allbreeds winners, I use live dogs for stud and most of my bitches go back now 20 odd years, with one still remaining at 13 and going strong. I believe if you have quality in your breeding bitches than you get great quality in your pups using the right dogs line breed to my girls.
I have 2 outstanding litters from my young stud dog 'Chance' who is carrying on the lines from 'Force', one of the best dogs in the country, producing soundness, great bone, substance and quality. 'Chance' is proving to be a great champion taking out 'BEST IN SHOW' at DDC Specialty 2014, his progeny is now being shown and winning in the ring, we expect a lot from these pups.
'TIKO' SUPAUCH. Derringer What A Chance is a 'Chance's son who is now a SUPREME CHAMPION. Awarded BIG @ Goomeri by Mr C Woodrow gave Tiko the final points he required to obtain such status. Tiko is the YOUNGEST DOBERMANN in Australia to obtain a Supreme Championship Title.
