Brynmor is a name synonymous with top winning show Welshies in NZ, home to the current National Champ, Brynmor Red Elmo (2008,2009) and breeder of past National Champ, Brynmor Red Derwyn (2007). Pups have been shown from 2 of our litters, either by us or their new owners and has resulted in 6 NZ Champs and 1 Aust Champ. And there is the promise of even more quality to come.

Dana Kennels was established in 1974 and we have had a long history with this lovely breed. We have bred and shown Nationals Winners as well as agility dogs, working gun dogs, and of course many loyal family companions. We were among the first kennels of any breed in New Zealand to test our breeding stock for any problems of a hereditary nature and have continued to do so.
We sometimes have puppies available to approved homes.

The successful Artificial insemination of NZCH Slyvkin Madigan of Llanfair to a Swedish sire SU(u)CH Clumbrold Bartender (Barney) has resulted in seven wonderful pups 5 bitches and 2 dogs. All pups have been placed in great homes throughout New Zealand and we look forward to their development in the show ring and the in the field.

We are planning a litter for November 2011 between NZ.CH.Llanfair Astra and SW.CH.Clumbrolds Kilkenny.

We are new breeders within the wonderful world of Welsh Springer Spaniels, we currently own 2 beautiful boys Flint (Llanfair Algernon) & Chester (Llanfair Ajax) who are available to stud to the right female.
We also own beautiful Lumi (Slyvkin Ice Maiden) who will be our foundation bitch, once she grows and matures and is health checked.
We will pride ourselves on producing healthy and good temperament puppies that are true to the Welsh Springer breed.

We are a Mother and Daughter team who whelped our first litter in November 2009.
Dam: CH Brynmor Red Enchantress (Tess).
Sire: Pip of Kellsmere (Ralph).

We are situated on a dairy farm in the Waikato and believe that all dogs should be allowed to get dirty, to chase rabbits and enjoy life in all its fullness.

We aim to breed happy, healthy best friends who can turn their hand to whatever is required of them. Whether it's hunting in the field, playing with children, showing off in the ring or cuddling on the couch.

Our foundation bitch Ch Brynmor Red Enchantress of Afonderi (Tess), is a Best of Group winner. She went Reserve Best of Breed and Bitch Challenge at the national dog show in 2009, she followed this up with Best of Breed and Bitch Challenge in 2010 and Bitch Challenge in 2011.
Her son, Ch Afonderi Armed N Red E (Horus), took the Reserve Dog Challenge and Puppy of Breed in 2010. He also took Dog Challenge and Best of Breed and Junior of breed in 2011.
Her daugthers, Afonderi Red E Maid (Monkey), took the Reserve Bitch Challenge in 2010 and is already a speciality class in show and all breeds age of group winner.
And not to be left behind, Afonderi At the Red E (Bridie) also has an all breeds age of group to her name.

We are looking forward to another exciting year with our adorable loveable little gang.
