Established in the 1990's, this is a small kennel dedicated to this rarer breed of Terrier. While very successful in the show ring, Kaeva Norwich Terriers also make delightful companions and quickly become treasured members of their families. They are raised in the home on my small farm where I aim to produce healthy, sound Norwiches with wonderful temperaments, absolutely true to the breed standard and able to perform as a terrier should.

I am enormously proud to have bred "BISS CH Kaeva Pay the Piper" the only Norwich Terrier to win Best in Specialty Show, and "RUBIS AUST GR CH Kaeva Right Said Fred", the second Norwich terrier to have ever achieved the title of GR CH in Australia.

Kaeva is the home of "BISS CH Kaeva Pay the Piper", "NZ CH Rouletta The Diamond Geezer (IMP UK)", and most recently, "ENG CH Brickin Ready to Rumble at Ragus (IMP UK)" has joined my Norwich family.

"Rumble" is the sire of 2012 Crufts Terrier Group Winner "Ragus Merry Gentleman", sire of Best Norwich Bitch at Crufts 2012, "Ragus Extra Hot" and sire of Reserve Best Bitch "Ragus Takes the Biscuit" who was also Best Puppy of Breed and he also sired the winner of the Special Junior Bitch class "Ragus Artful Amber". An outstanding record!
It is a privilege and an honour to have Rumble here and I am looking forward to combining his bloodlines with my existing Kaeva champions.

NORWESTER NORWICH TERRIERS is a hobby kennel on a lifestyle block in the Mid Canterbury countryside, 50 miles south of Christchurch. Since acquiring my first Norwich(NZ Ch Chesney Lord Beaumont Imp Aust) in 1999, I have become very much involved with this enchanting breed, which has so much to offer for all ages, in town or country homes.
My foundation bitch, Ch Grafton Just In Time, was from the famous Blair-Na-Park lines of the late Mrs Betty MacKenzie, and she produced some nice dogs to begin the Norwester story.
In 2008 the importation and show career of Karrell Anzac gave a valuable pedigree outcross. Bred by Ron and Jann Trout of Queensland, Anzac has 100% English blood from the Kinsridge kennel of Di Jenkins. At the end of 2009 I imported the black and tan English dog Rouletta Havin A Good Thyme, by UK/Sw Ch Ragus Up 'N' Adam from Rouletta Primrose, bred by Mrs Maureen Chambers. "Rocky" was Reserve Dog to the legendary Ragus Rings True at the 75th Anniversary Norwich Show in England in 2007. It is so exciting to have him here in New Zealand. Rocky's son Norwester Time To Tango has had a highly successful year for his owners Linda Strongman and Kirstin Dixon, in the North Island, as have the three Rocky progeny being shown in Australia. I have had fun with several homegrown and homeshown Rocky youngsters including Group winner and Puppy in Show Norwester Time and Trouble (Leo), and his litter sister, Norwester Time Frame, a Reserve in Group as a Baby Puppy.

Terrarius is a small happy and healthy kennel with “Jaeva Kinky Boots” as our foundation matriarch. We imported her from the UK in 2005 as a 6 month old from Martin Phillips of Jaeva. She comes from a long distinguished line of Grand Champions.

We have chosen not to show, but to focus on increasing healthy blood lines with fantastic temperament. Our puppies to date are also proving themselves in the show ring as well as becoming much loved pets.

Our goal is to help the Norwich Terrier breed grow and develop, to help achieve this we have been working with other breeders both in New Zealand and Australia.

To date we have breed both black and tan pups by "Rouletta Havin a Good Thyme" (Imp UK) owned by Jill Watson NZ and red pups by our dog "Terrarius Oscar".

Puppies are sometimes available from well breed bitches and dogs for show homes, breeding or pets to approved owners.
