Established in 1986 and based on international lines, we continue to import as the need arises. To view pictures and pedigrees of home-breds and imports (past & present) visit the 'our dogs' page of our website.

To date 35 Boromir Bull Terriers have achieved their NZ championship titles, plus a further nine imported dogs and one bought locally. Between them they have won 26 best in shows and 25 reserve best in shows under Bull Terrier Specialist judges.

A litter is planned for January 2012.

All stock is cleared of the known hereditary diseases before being bred from. Puppies and young adults sometimes available, please check out the dogs on our website and email for further information.

Brixton Bull Terriers is a very well known Bull Terrier Kennel. Roselin and Terry O'keefe have Owned and Bred quailty Bull Terriers for close to 50 years, including the first BIS All Breeds Bullie. It is with great pride that I, Gail O'keefe, get to carry on the Brixton Kennel name, Breeding my first litter of Bull Terriers under the Brixton Prefix this year. We Imported Frozen Semen with Pip Graham and Stu Mintrom of Bramble Bull and Border Terriers. Blair and I enjoy the Bull Terrier Breed and find that it fits in well with the Boxers and Boston Terriers @ Boxton and the Border Terriers @ Tennille.
Judd is our first home bred Bull Terrier, and has won All Breeds BIS, Terrier Club BIS and a Bull Terrier BIS.

We have been breeding English Bull Terriers for 17+ years We have many All Breed Winners and we own the first English Bull Terrier in over 25 years in NZ to win Best in Show under the President of the South African Kennel Union this was the biggest turn out of over 700 dogs showing at the time.

All dogs shown had correct bites and we bred to improve substance, temperament, health and quality.

Bramble is a small Bull Terrier Kennel based in Darfield, rural Canterbury, NZ. Although show dogs, all our Bullies share our house along with our Border Terrier and two young boys.

At Bramble we only breed to keep a pup and we only keep enough Bullies that they can all still be given the attention a family pet deserves. Our Bull Terriers are well known for their happy outgoing temperaments with people and other dogs and to keep it this way we will not breed from any dog or bitch that is not 100% sound in temperament.

Over the last decade Bramble Bull Terriers have been consistent In Show Winners at speciality shows in both the North and South Island.

Our Canterbury based homebred Trio of Ch Pinewood Devils N Angels, Pinewood Fire In A Dragons Eye and Pinewood She Talks To Angels regularly do us proud in the All Breeds and Specialty show ring.

All of our breeding stock is from PCKD cleared lines and are tested for Heart Issues , Luxating Patella and Hereditary Nephritis PRIOR to each and every litter.
Temperament is absolutely paramount to us and always has been. We will not breed from any Bull Terrier who displays anything but the most stable happy personality.
We are only the " GUARDIANS " of our unique and delightful breed for the short time we are on this earth and we must protect and foster it !!!

Our Kennels are in Hokitika on the West Coast NZ. Our Bull Terriers have brought us an enormous amount of pleasure over the years both as family pets and in the show ring. Our dogs are all health checked regularly.
CH Bramble Flashback and CH Bramble Fire 'N' Ice (ROM) reside with us in Hokitika. We breed so that we can extend our bully family and to give other people the opportunity to own one of these engaging and fun loving dogs.
