Strikeness Sighthounds, established in 1980, seriously concentrating on Borzoi since 2002. Our aims are to rear healthy hounds along the principles of Juliette de Bairacli Levy. We seek to breed honest hounds with good hunting instincts that can do the job they were designed for. To do this we think type, balance and temperament important. Dogs that can hunt, course and win in the ring. For us and for others. For the past few years dogs carrying the Strikeness prefix have consistently taken top honours in the NZ Borzoi pointscore as well as in the breed on Dogzonline pointscore. Enquiries welcome for those wanting a seriously good show dog or a wonderful companion. WE HEALTH TEST.

Hundale has been home to some outstanding Borzoi since 1975. Currently home to Multi BISS and RISS winners Multi Champions and All Breeds Group winners. My aim is to consolidate the type, soundness, beauty and wonderful temperaments of the Swedish imports in Australasia and was very happy to welcome Clovelly Wizard N White to Hundale. Wicca's (NZ Ch Borscana Wicced Wicca (Imp Sweden) Magick litter is now well established in the show ring with 3 champions and 4 other pointed dogs and bitches who are winning at Group level on both sides of the Tasman. The Magick kids have inherited the innate coursing/hunting prowess of their mother Wicca and we also enjoy lure coursing - so far just for fun but waiting with eager anticipation for the SFCC to set up FC pointed meets here in the South Island.

Benbrook Kennels have bred and shown the Russian Wolfhound (Borzoi) since 1974. These elegant, sensitive and gentle hounds, make ideal companions, awesome coursers or handsome show dogs. We strive to breed for type, temperament and soundness. Our dogs are country reared and ideally should go to homes with plenty of room to run free or have access to off leash exercise.
