Faye had a chequered life as a pup after her litter had to be evacuated twice when bush fires threatened their home! Despite this Faye has become a delightful, affectionate fun loving hound, who loves hunting and coursing. Faye won Best Puppy of Group at the Taupo Kennel Association in October 2009, and we look forward to her recommencing her show career this spring. Faye has now qualified to receive her NZ Champon status, and we look forward to breeding from her soon. In 2012 Faye became the first dual champion deerhound in NZ when she attained her Coursing Champion Title (C Ch). She did this in style winning Best in Field in May 2012 and also Reserve Best in Field in June 2012. She also won the Patroness Trophy for High Points scored in 2011-2012.
