SICE is a small, family devoted kennel dedicated to the rare and captivating Affenpinscher — affectionately known as the “Monkey Terrier” for their cheeky personality and expressive little faces. These unique dogs are famously believed to have inspired the Ewoks from Star Wars, and once you meet one, it’s easy to see why.
Our Affenpinschers are first and foremost beloved members of our family. They share our home, our lives, and our hearts, which means we only occasionally have puppies available. Quality, temperament, and the wellbeing of our dogs will always come before quantity.
We are proud to have produced our sire to New Zealand Championship status, while our beautiful dam was carefully imported from Australia to strengthen and preserve this wonderful breed in New Zealand.
Our journey in dogs began in South Africa, where we were actively involved with Dobermann and Miniature Wire-Haired Dachshunds. Since relocating our family to New Zealand, however, it has been the incredible Affenpinscher that has truly stolen our hearts. Their intelligence, loyalty, humour, and larger-than-life personalities make them an unforgettable companion and a joy to share with others.
