Focused on breeding high health, true to type Large Munsterlanders. All dams and sires tested for Hips, Elbows, eyes, HUU and Tri colour gene. We look to use dogs and bitches that show the best of the LM traits and temperament - happy, willing, outgoing, confident with excellent hunting instincts retained, conforming as closely as possible to the breed standard.

Prefix : PARKHILL (Large Munsterlander)

Keen Large Munsterlander owners since 2002, and breeders since 2018. We love this breed for their strongly maintained hunting instincts, combined with a steadfast focus on 'their family' and an irrepressible love of life and desire to please.

Our focus is to produce high health litters, improving on our lines while retaining the gundog instincts. We select top dogs and lineages to use and have imported straws from UK, Holland and Germany to ensure we are adding to the existing NZ lines.

In addition to high health, we look to breed pups with correct conformation and the temperament that the LMs are known for - outgoing, biddable, willing, generous, focused and happy.

We use excellent working and show lines. Our pups also happily placed in suitable companion homes.

Our next litter will be from our co owned bitch, NZ CH KaimaiView Solo Flight. Slick, as she is known, is a treasured family member with a sweet disposition, keen to learn and please. She shows exceptional aptitude at scent work and solid hunting instincts. Both her parents were used in the field and her lines show excellent results across all disciplines. Sire of this coming litter is still to be determined but will be international lines and will meet our high standards.

Previous Parkhill litters have resulted in one NZ Champion (bitch), 2 Australian Champions (bitch and dog), excellent hunting results being achieved by hunter owners and all pups are fantastic family members.
