I have had a life long involvement with Irish Setters since 1969 my parents having also bred Irish Setters. We have a small kennel located on our lifestyle property south of Auckland New Zealand.

At Karamu we are dedicated to breeding quality Irish Setters with superb temperaments, health & trainability through selective limited planned breedings. Our Irish Setters are excellent for show, obedience, agility and most of all as wonderful home companions that you can enjoy for a lifetime.
We are the only NZ Irish Setter Breeders to have combined both proven top obedience & confirmation breeding stock in our breeding programme.
