BetterCavs is a boutique DogsNZ registered breeder dedicated to raising healthy, DNA tested, high-quality Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in a home environment.
Every BetterCavs puppy is raised through the **Full 51- lesson Puppy Culture breeding program** — a comprehensive early-development program that begins while the puppies are still tiny and progresses with them throughout their time with me. It goes far beyond Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)
As the puppies develop, I deliberately introduce new experiences, surfaces, sounds, challenges, handling, socialisation, problem-solving and the beginnings of manners and training — always at an age and pace appropriate for the puppy.
It takes considerably more time and involvement to raise puppies this way, but I believe those first weeks are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help shape the puppy you eventually take home. That belief influences everything I do with the litter because I want you to see the difference.
