RISING STAR OF THE YEAR 2009
These rules should be read in conjuction with
rules covering all pointscore competitions.
The Rising Star of the Year 2009 competition will be used to recognise National and Breed leaders for the up and coming youngsters (up to 24 months of age).
Eligible results can be entered from any All Breeds Championship Show or Specialty Championship Show in New Zealand.
Please Note : Any result from a Specialty show that is not a 'Group Specialty', will only be included in the individual Breed Rising Star leaderboard.
For the purposes of the pointscore, a 'Group Specialty' is a specialty show where ALL the breeds from at least one (1) NZKC group are eligible to enter.
- The following results are eligible to be entered and the points that will be allocated are displayed. Points allocated are a flat rate regardless of the number of entries in the show.
- Junior, Puppy, Minor Puppy or Baby Puppy in Show - (50 points)
- Junior, Puppy, Minor Puppy or Baby Puppy in Group - (20 points)
- Junior, Puppy, Minor Puppy or Baby Puppy of Breed - (5 points)
- Only the highest award per exhibit per show will be counted.
Certificates
will be awarded for all
National / Breed winners.
