We see our dogs as first and foremost our beloved pets 7 family members and only want to do the very best by the two breeds we are involved with by health testing our dogs before considering them in any future breeding programme and providing as much education or information to owners/potential owners or just lovers of our breeds at all times.

Kia Ora from Dogueridge Kennels , we are a small hobbyist kennels situated in the beautiful Bay of Plenty in New Zealand we are admirers ,exhibiters and on occassion breeders of this truely majestic breed ,they are our passion as well as being a huge part of our family and with us and are not stuck in a kennel situation . They are such a unique dog in so many ways, once you have owned one you would be hard pressed to find another breed to compare with them.There loyalty is unquestionable and even on the worse day they will put a smile on your face or give you a laugh.
We pride ourselves on health testing our breeding dogs for the benefit of the breed and any offspring in the future ,not only within our Kennels but within NZ....there is nothing more heart breaking than loosing a much loved family member , especially way to soon , and when you loose a bordeaux they rip your heart out because they all have such personalities.We strive also to produce true to type Bordeaux's with great temperaments.
We breed very rarely but when we do it is only for our own benefit foremost and to improve on the quality of the Bordeaux's we already have , but we do on occassion have pet puppys available under strict contracts.

Dogueridge kennels is a small hobbist Kennel situated in the beautiful Bay of Plenty NZ, our selected breeds are the Rhodesian Ridgeback and the Dogue de Bordeaux....our main emphasis being the Bordeaux .
We hip / elbow score all our dogs ,being large breeds we feel it is imperitive to lessen the chance of Dysplasia in the future for these breeds and future owners. We strive to achieve true to type ridgies with good health and temperament.We do not breed very often but when we do it is general for our own benefit to improve on what we have but do on occassion have pets available on contracts.Feel free to contact us for any information on either of our breeds.
