NZKC REG'D BLACK & TAN COONHOUNDS - NEW BREED TO AUSTRALASIA

The Black & Tan Coonhound is a fabulous, goofy character that will bring much joy into your life. They have a very soft nature and the abililty to turn into a canine pretzel to fit beside you on the couch! We are currently showing our team of B&T's with tremendous success in the ring and enjoying every minute.

They are a scenthound for the serious hunter, having one of the best cold noses(can scent on an old trail) within the hunting breeds. Often used in Search & Rescue with having the reputation of never giving up on a trail. They will think their way through obstacles using very methodical and intelligent strategies. In addition to being wonderful family pets they excel in obedience, agility, conformation, hunting & trailing.
