We have a mix of Top Uk, American, Australian and New Zealand bloodlines. Sarangrave constantly has group and in show award winning beagles. We are a small kennel situated approximately 1 hour's drive North of Auckland, on a 20 acre lifestyle block in Warkworth. My aim is to breed quality, true to type, impeccably natured beagles that are as "at home" in the showring as they are in our local forestry block where they enjoy daily offlead walks. I currently have a wonderful dog, Barney, from respected Australian lines, who is enjoying some success in the showring. Barney has 2 female playmates; Daisy and her daughter Lilly, also from respectable NZ bloodlines. We have lived with beagles for over 15 years and bred our first litter 10 years ago. We are a rural kennel breeding for Health, Temperment, and Conformation to the beagle standard. We have had consistant success in the Show Ring having produced multiple Champions with many group and in show awards including Best In Show Speciality. Personal Testimony of a satisfied client of Nikki Arnoll of Caernafon Kennels My experience as an owner of a beagle pup bred by Caernafon Kennels has been completely positive. From the first contact, Nikki has been absolutely professional and consistent in her communications. As for the pup herself, she is everything one could hope for in a young beagle. She was in top health when I collected her, and this has been maintained with the help of the free starter pack of puppy food I was given when I picked her up. She has been easy to toilet train, responding to the ‘quick quick’ command at the right times and places. She settled very quickly into her new home, and is a devoted wee girl. She had been socialised to a wide range of noises, so she sleeps through most anything. At 12 weeks, she is obedient to basic commands ( come, sit, quick quick, off, fetch, give) and can be walked off the lead on the farm. In summary, as a first-time beagle owner, I recommend Caernafon Kennels as beagle breeders and could not have asked for a better start for my pup Bethany.
